Tracy Tessler, Registered Dental Hygienist
The staff at Robertson Family Dentistry is, well, exceptional. They are committed to providing you with the best, compassionate experience possible. We will work tirelessly with you to assure that your appointments are scheduled promptly and conveniently. Additionally, our business managers will do their best to minimize your costs and maximize your insurance benefits in order to keep your out-of-pockets as low as possible.
Tracy has been with our office for 14 years after she moved from Vancouver, British Columbia. A dual citizen, Tracy was born in Southern California, and raised in the Okanagan Valley in B.C. She graduated from the University of Alberta, with her diploma in Dental Hygiene, in 1986.
Tracy loves the lifestyle of the Eugene/Springfield area. Her twin daughters recently graduated from high school and are now attending the University of Oregon and Simon-Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Tracy’s third daughter, Hannah, is in junior high and a fierce athlete and horseback rider. When not shuttling children to ballet, soccer, guitar, piano or flute lessons, she can be found tracking down her missing dogs, chasing chickens, or trying to prevent some sort of animal drama at home.
Occasionally, she might indulge in some outdoor pursuits, like bike riding, hiking or camping. She enjoys live music, and is learning to play the acoustic guitar, and would love to be able to sing while playing, some day.
Tracy enjoys meeting new patients, and getting to know them over time. She worked in a periodontal office in Vancouver for 7 years, and has a passion to create optimal dental health with the patients she meets. She looks forward to meeting you, if she has not yet done so.
One of the first people you will likely meet if you call or come to our office is Diana. Patients tell us they like to call our office just because of Diana’s wonderful, friendly voice and laugh. She will welcome you with a smile and a friendly introduction to our office. Diana has worked in dentistry for 27 years. She started out as a chair-side assistant and then transitioned to the “front desk” where she has worked with us for over 15 years.
Diana knows how wonderful it is to get your appointments as soon as you need them. With her experience and dogged-determination, Diana will also make a valiant effort to work with you to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses and maximize your insurance benefits.
Diana was born in San Jose, California but she was moved as an infant to the Eugene area where she attended South Eugene High School. Upon graduation, she enrolled in Merrit Davis Business College.
Diana says that she enjoys flower gardening, beading, and hanging out with her dog. The rest of us would say: “If you listen carefully at all you know that Diana mostly enjoys laughing.”
One of the youngest people on our staff, even Tina has been playing in the dental field for over 25 years! (She apparently started when just a young, youngster!) Tina grew up in the Myrtle Point area where she graduated from high school. She immediately enrolled in the Lane Community College Dental Assisting program. Upon graduation she headed back toward home and worked as a D.A. in Coos Bay.
In 1996, Tina sought warmer, drier weather in Santa Barbara, California where she was a dental assistant in a pediatric dental office. In 1999 she returned home to Oregon and began working with Dr. Robertson. Tina’s experience in general dentistry and kid’s dentistry provides tremendous “bed-side” skills with our patients. Maybe it’s working with all those kids that helps her deal with Dr. Robertson as well!
When Tina isn’t helping our patients, she can be found hiking, camping, and enjoying her dog, and her life-long friend Glen.
Wendy began her dental-assisting career over 30 years ago. She grew up as a hard-working farm girl, in the foothills of the Coast Range. After high school graduation she attended Lane Community College to complete the dental assisting program.
Wendy has been working chair-side with Dr. Robertson and helping our patients for over 15 years.
When you don’t have your mouth wide opened or our hands in your mouth, be sure to ask Wendy about her love of baking; she is an exceptional bread-maker. She is also very involved with her church. Wendy has two grown kids who live in the area. Her daughter, Sherry, is getting married this summer.
Holly is the newest and youngest team member in our office. She joined us two years ago and has been a great addition. Her exceptional dental skills and charming personality make up a perfect dental hygiene team along with Tracy.
Holly grew up in Kodiak, Alaska. After graduating from high school, she came down to Oregon for college and dental hygiene school. Her mom and dad grew up in Oregon so she has most of her family still down here (and we are very grateful since it helps us keep her here!) She enjoys being outdoors in both the snow and water. But mostly she enjoys playing with her extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and their children.
